This website, authorized by the Bloch Estate, hopes to provide insight into the breadth of Robert Bloch’s versatility as a writer—at home in the worlds of fantasy and horror, but equally adept at writing thrillers, science fiction, detective/crime, and humor. The author of over 25 novels and hundreds of short stories, many acknowledged classics, has cemented Bloch’s reputation as one of the masters of fictional horror. His versatility extended to the field of scriptwriting as well, his talents frequently in demand for writing/adapting stories for radio, television, and film.
