The Night Walker (1964)
Summary: A woman is haunted by recurring nightmares, which escalate after her late husband’s death in a fire.

Bloch: “William Castle had moved his base of operations from Columbia to Universal, and it was here that he summoned me for a new assignment. An Australian housewife had sent him an unsolicited screenplay. Story line, characters, dialogue and setting were all impossible to consider, but Bill was interested in what remained. The basic concept was the dilemma faced by a person who could no longer clearly differentiate between dream and reality.”
