  • Nemo was conceived as a three-part pilot for a proposed weekly television series under the title The Return of Captain Nemo. When a series did not materialize, the three episodes were edited into one 102-minute feature, the name changed to The Amazing Captain Nemo, and shown theatrically in Europe.
  • Bloch is credited as having collaborated on the episode along with Larry Alexander and Norman Katkov.
