Summary:
Tom Kendall suffers from random blackouts, after which he tries to piece together his actions during the missing hours. Such as when he awoke to find his wife dead in their bed, her throat slashed, the scissors used to kill her inexplicably still in Tom’s hands. While he is later exonerated when the case is declared a suicide years later, Tom nonetheless now finds himself again under suspicion by the police—and himself—in a series of brutal murders for which his blackouts exclude any hope for an alibi.
Bloch: There is little to nothing to be found on Bloch speaking about The Will to Kill.
Note: Collected in the omnibus volume, Screams (1989; along with Firebug and The Star Stalker).
